Dear Young People, we are reaching out to you at a time of global and national unrest, when the environment that surrounds us is becoming more toxic by the day.
What a joy it is to trust in the Lord Jesus, and be taught of His ways; in our homes; in our churches; at our gatherings.
But the assault continues, and sometimes our resolve may weaken, and we may at times become weary.
We need each other, and we need to stand against the enemy of our souls, and find strength in the Word of God, and among the People of God, as we worship, and as we share our own particular needs and burdens with each other.
We are extending another invite to each of you to our Youth Discipleship Week that we hold in Ohio every other year. We hope to gather again, Lord willing, the week of October 27 through Nov. 1, at Seedtime Acres, for another season of inspirational worship and praise, and a time of learning, and uplifting song.
This event is open to Committed Youth who are 17 and older.
There is still room, and it is not too late to fill in the remaining places around our tables. We know there are many voices calling, and yet we believe that you will find this to be a very profitable time as you come away from your normal responsibilities and schedule.
Part of the week will be interactive teaching and singing, and we will also be visiting a jail where youth are incarcerated, to minister to them. We will visit a homeless shelter as well, where we will attempt to encourage lonely souls with inspirational songs.
