Storms of various kinds, tragic accidents, and many other natural disasters provide opportunities for God’s people to bless those in need and share the gospel. Jesus was moved by compassion when he saw people in need, and he responded to their cries for help. As the body of Christ, we are called to follow his example under the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. During these challenging circumstances, people’s hearts are many times softened and open to receive the love and truth of God, as they see God’s people sacrificially serving them.
