Family Devotions

|
A family sits on a couch in their living room. The father reads a book while his wife and three little children listen and follow along.

Families do this in different ways. Some meet before breakfast, others after the evening meal, and still others just before going to bed. Each family has different customs, some are more consistent than others, and sometimes social events interfere with our goals.

But each family is encouraged to spend time each day, as a family, worshiping the Lord. We have found this to be a tremendous blessing, and a wonderful encouragement in our homes.

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Deuteronomy 6:7

Three children and their mother sit on a couch as they read their Bibles for family devotions.
Four young boys gather around their father on a chair as he reads a book to them.
